“In the 2nd week of 2022, 11,912 patients with influenza and SARS were registered in the capital, including COVID-19. The incidence rate is below the epidemic threshold by 49.6%. Currently, the incidence rate is 402.1, ”the statement reads.

It is reported that in general in the capital there is an increase in morbidity by 27.7% compared to the previous week, which occurred at the expense of both children and adults. Thus, children became ill – 4895 (an increase of 16.4%), adults – 7017 people (an increase of 36.9%).
“In the structure of morbidity, children make up 41.1%, and in the previous week – 45.1%. 46.2% of them are school-age children. In particular, 2,263 cases were registered among schoolchildren. In the last week, 497 people were hospitalized, including 108 children, ”the statement reads.

From October 4 to December 26, 2021, 2.8 million people in Ukraine fell ill with influenza and SARS.
