The scheme of medical nutrition for each patient is developed by a nutritionist. “Thanks to the nutritionist’s advice, our patients learn the basic principles of healthy eating, receive the necessary recommendations for the use of certain products during treatment and during the rehabilitation period,” said the doctor.

As for the general dietary recommendations for patients diagnosed with cancer, all doctors recommend getting the right amount of calories and balance the intake of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, to avoid dehydration.
Experts recommend eating lean meat and fish boiled, stewed, baked or steamed. Porridge from different cereals – semolina, buckwheat, oats, pearl barley, rice; pasta from durum wheat.
Vegetables stewed in the form of saute: cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, eggplant, peeled tomatoes, sweet peppers without peel. You can prepare fruit and vegetable juices: from apples, grapes, carrots, celery, dill, parsley, cucumbers, tomatoes and bell peppers (in small quantities, – ed.). It is possible in any comfortable combination and proportions, only be sure to dilute with boiled water in a ratio of 1: 1. Also useful fermented milk products: medium-fat cheese, non-sour kefir, yogurt, cheese in the form of casserole with fruit, cheesecakes, lazy dumplings with minimal flour.
According to experts from the American Institute for Cancer Research, it is advisable for all people to avoid large amounts of red meat and alcohol in their diet, as this can increase the risk of cancer.
