According to the official, the Ministry is “closely monitoring the situation” in Ukraine.
Earlier today, the media reported that the United Kingdom after the United States began to recall the embassy in Ukraine amid the threat of Russian invasion.
Also, according to media reports, Australia has issued an order to evacuate family members of its diplomats in Ukraine.
The reports came after the United States instructed relatives of its embassy staff to leave Ukraine, saying the Russian invasion could take place “at any time.”
The US State Department also warned people not to travel to Ukraine and Russia because of continuing tensions and “the possibility of persecution of US citizens.”
Ukraine considers such decisions premature.
Commenting on the decision of the State Department, the EU said it was waiting for explanations from US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on the decision to leave Ukraine for American diplomats. The European Union itself is not going to do the same.
