Kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – January 27,2022- According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on January 28, in connection with snowfall and blizzards in the high mountains of the Zakarpattia region, in the Ivano-Frankivsk mountains and the Lviv regions, the danger of avalanches is still great (level 3), and therefore the men warned Rescue from avalanches in the Carpathians on January 28.
The warning was issued by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
On January 23, on the Borzhava mountain valley (slope of Mount Plaj) near the town of Volovets, an avalanche occurred while a group of 9 tourists were descending, partially covering 5 tourists with snow. The tourists dug themselves out, one person was injured in the avalanche.
