When planning a trip, Ukrainians first of all take into account the advice of friends and relatives living in Ukraine.
Ukrainians consider social networks to be the second effective tool for travel planning.
In third place – the advice of friends and relatives living abroad.
On the fourth – YouTube content about travel, on the fifth – the choice without choice, because it is business, business travel.
The rating of TV programs dedicated to travel is closing.
Among the 30% of respondents who chose social networks as their main help when deciding on travel, the most popular source of information was Facebook.
The older people are, the more often they use it: among people aged 15 to 24, only 31% of them, 84% in the 35-44 category, and 87% in the 55-64 category.
The situation is the opposite with Instagram. It is used as a tool for travel planning primarily by young people: aged 15 to 25 – 84%, aged 25 to 34 – 58%, aged 55-64 – only 22%.
Trends among messengers also differ by age.
Viber is more commonly used by older people (10% aged 15-24 and 29% aged 65-70). Telegram – on the contrary (21% aged 15-24 and 15% aged 65-70).
The least popular were Tik Tok and Twitter. However, Tik Tok is more popular than Twitter among young people.
