The incident occurred on the highway H-09 Mukachevo – Rakhiv – Ivano-Frankivsk – Lviv.
“In the village of Dilove and Rakhiv, two local snow avalanches descended to the middle of the roadway. The height of the snow shift reached 7 meters. They were removed by a wheel loader. There were no breaks in traffic,” the statement said.

According to the forecasts of the regional center for hydrometeorology, during January 31 – February 1 on the roads of Transcarpathia and Uzhgorod will be ice. At night, mainly in the mountains, winds of up to 15-20 m / s and a blizzard are forecast.
