In general, the incidence rate of COVID-19 in Ukraine is 859 per 100,000 population, while the norm for the “green” zone is up to 75 per 100,000 population. All of the above indicates a worsening of the situation.
Currently, this figure is 11.45 times higher than the established level, although on January 12 the incidence was only twice as high.
In total, the “orange” zone includes 19 regions, including Kyiv, two – Prykarpattia and Rivne – in the “red”, all other regions – Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions – in the “yellow”.

On January 20, the Ministry of Health noted a new outbreak with an epicenter in western Ukraine.
On January 24, the Ivano-Frankivsk region moved to the “red” zone. Rivne region joined it on January 27.
