Drinking water in the morning after waking up is considered one of the most healthy habits, but is it really so? According to doctors, drinking enough water is really important, but it should be done wisely.
Drinking water in the morning is not always useful – this is especially true when people are offered to drink cold or, conversely, heated liquid, attributing to such water many different health effects.
“Almost all the effects of cold and hot water are fictional. Cold water helps only in the presence of heat stroke, hot water – only in the presence of hypothermia,” – said gastroenterologists.
Experts have explained that when the temperature of water consumed differs significantly from the temperature of the human body, it inevitably causes discomfort – at least irritation of the stomach. It does not matter whether the liquid is cold or hot – “it disrupts gastric motility and adversely affects general well-being.”
Doctors advised not to use water as a means of treatment. If the body is not dehydrated, it will not be a “cure” for him.
