The rescue operation lasted 5 days. On Friday night, a team of rescuers and volunteers said they had three meters to walk, and less than a meter left on Saturday afternoon.
To reach the boy, rescuers dug a tunnel in parallel, and then drilled a three-meter jumper. The operation lasted from Tuesday evening.
The rescue operation was monitored throughout the country. According to rescuers, on Thursday they managed to lower oxygen and water to the bottom of the well with the help of a rope.

“I was able to talk to the child, I asked if he could hear me. Rayayan answered. I waited for about a minute and saw that the boy used an oxygen mask,” Imad Fahmi, a Red Cross volunteer, told local media.
Then rescuers also lowered the camera to the bottom to monitor the guy. Despite falling from a great height, the video showed that the boy was unconscious, but his head injuries were noticed.
A group of rescuers came out of the tunnel they dug on Saturday night with the dead body of a child in their arms.
Local television showed footage of rescuers carrying a child wrapped in a yellow blanket from a tunnel they had dug.
