In general, the incidence rate of COVID-19 in Ukraine is 1,148 per 100,000 population, while the norm for the “green” zone is up to 75 per 100,000 population. All of the above indicates a worsening of the situation.
Currently, this figure is 15.3 times higher than the established level, although on January 12 the incidence was only twice as high.
In total, the “orange” zone includes 19 regions, including Kyiv, two – Ivano-Frankivsk and Rivne regions – in the “red”, but four – Kirovograd, Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye regions – in the “yellow”. In the last two, the figure has improved in half a week.

On January 20, the Ministry of Health noted a new outbreak with an epicenter in western Ukraine.
On January 24, the Ivano-Frankivsk region moved to the “red” zone. Rivne region joined it on January 27.
