According to him, the cost of the “Sea Launch” is estimated at 4.8 billion hryvnias.
“It’s quite a small cost, we use the technological units, the infrastructure that Ukrainian companies have,” he said.
The cost of maintaining the maritime spaceport, explained the head of the State Space Agency, will depend on the size of the rocket to be launched. Therefore, the “Sea Launch” is designed to launch light rockets, which “will be attractive to both space system operators and those who launch satellites, ie customers.”
