The Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Health, Svetlana Shatalova, said during a press briefing that the World Bank, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, is preparing a project to purchase Coronavirus vaccines, in addition to purchasing equipment for medical institutions, valued at about $ 100 million.
Shatalova said that the World Bank financed the Ministry of Health communication project about Covid-19, and implemented a project to improve health care to serve people with a value of about $ 215 million.
According to Shatalova, six inter-regional centers for tumor examination and cancer prevention have been established in Lviv region, a large number of cardiology equipment has been purchased for Poltava region, 35 vehicles have been prepared for the collection of clinical analyzes, and in Rivne region 38 dispensaries are being rebuilt.
