Ukraine Gate – Kiev – February 14, 2022 – Sky Up Airlines announced the ban on all flights to and from Ukraine from February 14-16 due to the current situation in the country and the possibility of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and sending its planes to the European Union.
The insurance of Ukrainian planes will be stopped by insurance companies within 48 hours, and a plane carrying 175 passengers was emergency landing and transported by buses to Kiev.
The Ministry of Infrastructure held an emergency meeting to discuss the current situation in an attempt to find appropriate solutions, and the ministry says that this situation requires a decision at the state level.

“We are doing our best to continue flights as usual, we have temporarily stopped selling tickets between 14-16 February 2022 and are waiting for a resolution of the situation,” Sky Up CEO Dmitry Serokhov said.
