Due to the sufficient amount of potassium, the body does not retain excess fluid, does not become prone to edema – this is possible due to good kidney function.
Scientists remind that the body’s daily need for potassium is from 3500 to 4700 mg per day (in the absence of renal pathology). In turn, 100 g of apricots contain about 259 mg of potassium.

They contain flavonoids that protect and strengthen blood vessels, which reduce the manifestation of vascular inflammation.
Apricots and dried apricots contain antioxidants such as vitamin E and vitamin C, which are able to protect skin cells from ultraviolet radiation, reduce the appearance of early wrinkles.
Another antioxidant in these fruits is beta-carotene. Rich in beta-carotene and other carotenoids apricots are great for improving eye health, maintaining quality vision, prevention of age-related problems with it.
