Lharkiv’s Yaroslavl Airport doubled passenger traffic in January .

“In January 2022, the airlines made 355 flights from Kharkiv International Airport, and the passenger flow rate was 73.5 thousand people. 65.3 thousand passengers took advantage of international flights at Kharkiv Airport, which is 105% more than in January 2021. The increase on domestic routes is 116%: 8.2 thousand people used the airport services in January, while in January 2021 their number was 3.8 thousand.
The most popular destinations in January were Istanbul, Sharm el-Sheikh, Kiev, Marsa Alam and Krakow.
Meanwhile, Yaroslavl Airport is already intensively preparing for the summer tourist season. Kharkiv International Airport has announced a large number of flights for the summer season. Thus, the Ukrainian airline SkyUp Airlines has opened the sale of tickets for flights to 13 destinations from Kharkov to: Barcelona (from April 29), Larnaca (from May 1), Prague (from May 5), Heraklion (from May 19), Batumi (from 20) May), Rimini and Tirana (from June 1), Burgas (from June 7). Wizz Air also adds to the summer map of flights from Kharkov 13 destinations: Vienna, Thessaloniki, Tallinn, Milan (Malpensa Airport), Rome (Fiumicino Airport), Larnaca, Berlin (Brandenburg Airport), Dortmund, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Gdansk Pardube.

At the same time, the press service of the operator of the Kharkiv airport “New Systems AM” from the DCH group reported on its social media pages that the airport operates normally, serving arrivals and departures of scheduled aircraft.

Kharkiv International Airport is one of the key infrastructure facilities of the first capital of Ukraine and the Kharkiv region. Investments in its reconstruction were provided by the DCH group of companies of Ukrainian businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky as part of the preparation of key infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv for Euro-2012.
