Melatonin is also a very strong antioxidant that fights skin aging, takes care of the health of hair and nails, affects the quality of sleep. Decreased hormone levels lead to a slowdown in metabolic processes.
During the study, scientists found that if you charge your phone or other gadgets in the bedroom, there is a decrease in its production, which threatens metabolic disorders, it can lead to obesity, diabetes and other problems.
It was also found that when the phone is in standby mode, the electromagnetic radiation is 2.3 μW / cm, and when turned on it rises to 3.4 μW / cm. The indicators of electromagnetic radiation of mobile phones from a distance of 5 cm, 10 cm and 15 cm from the smartphone are 1, 0.5 and 0.3 μW / cm, respectively. That is, the farther away from the mobile device, the less exposure to electromagnetic energy.
Experts advise to turn off the phone, but if this is not possible, then at least do not take it with you to the bedroom and even more so do not put it next to you on the bed.
