Ukraine Gate – Kiev – February 20, 2022- The press service of Operation Joint Forces reported on Facebook that 134 units of military equipment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were stationed in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in violation of the Minsk agreements over the past 24 hours.
According to the Ukrainian side of the SCCC, 5 units of armaments and military equipment were stationed in the area of action of the so-called “1st Army Corps”, and 129 units in the area of operations of the so- called “2nd Army Corps”.
Among the listed equipment – towed howitzers, MLRS, self-propelled howitzers, tanks, SAM, axle box anti-tank gun, BBM.
The press service of the Environmental Protection Agency also said that the work of the OSCE SMM in the temporarily occupied territories is regularly accompanied by obstacles from the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that at the checkpoint of armed formations about 3 km from Petrivske, a representative of the armed formations refused to patrol the mission in the passage to the breeding area in Petrivske, and at the checkpoint near Zaichenko two armed representatives of armed formations forbade the mission to travel to Pikuz and Sakhanka.
“Recorded violations by the RF Armed Forces indicate that they are taking active combat training measures to create conditions for further escalation of tensions on the line of contact,” the Environmental Protection Agency said.
At the same time, units of the Allied Forces keep the situation under control and continue to perform tasks to repel and deter armed aggression by the Russian Federation.
“The Armed Forces adhere to the Minsk agreements and open fire only in cases where the actions of the Russian occupation forces pose a threat to the life and health of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians,” the OOS said.
The occupiers also fired at armed forces positions 136 times during the past 24 hours, Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed, Four soldiers were wounded and another soldier was wounded in combat.
