Basketball: FIBA postponed the match between the national teams of Ukraine and Spain
The match of the 4th round of the first group qualifying round of the 2023 World Cup between the national team of Ukraine and the world champions, the Spanish team, has been postponed.

The match, which was to be played on February 27 in Kyiv’s “Palace of Sports”, was moved to the third qualifying round of the World Cup (July 2022).
FIBA has offered seven options for the Ukraine-Spain match in neutral territory on the scheduled date. In a dialogue with the Spanish Federation and FIBA, the FBU has expressed a clear position that the match should take place in Ukraine. The Spanish Federation is not ready to send the national team to Kyiv for the match on February 27, so this match has been postponed. As planned, the match will take place in Kyiv’s “Palace of Sports”. The new date of the match will be announced after the final decision of the national federations and FIBA, which will be adopted by June 1.
Addition
On February 24 at 21:45 in the 3rd round the men’s national team will play against Spain in Cordoba.
