It is reported that on Friday the EU will officially approve sanctions that will cut off 70% of Russia’s banking system from international financial markets and impose restrictions on the amount of money that Russia’s elite can keep in the EU.
Earlier, Radio Liberty correspondent Ricard Jozwiak said that the decision was approved today by EU ambassadors. According to him, it is about freezing assets – but not about banning visas.
At the same time, the aggressor began artillery shelling of the territory and settlements of Ukraine along the state border and on the border with the occupied Crimea.
Martial law was imposed throughout Ukraine.
