EU sanctions against Russia have come into force
On Monday, February 28, new EU sanctions against Russia came into force. This is stated in the Official Statement of the European Union, Ukraine , Ukraingate , 28 , February , 2022 | Ukraine News
EU sanctions against Russia include:
- All flights to EU countries are prohibited for Russian aircraft – public, private, owned by Russian airlines, which are simply registered in Russia, or not registered, but controlled by the Russians. Only emergency landings are allowed.
- Prohibition of any transactions with the Central Bank of Russia. In particular, the “frozen” international foreign exchange reserves of the Russian Federation, which are in European banks.
