Ukraine Gate – Kiev – February 28, 2022- Adviser to the Head of the Interior Ministry Anton Gerashchenko reported in Telegram that a helicopter of Russian invaders had been shot down in the Kharkiv region.
As Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24 the start of the invasion of Ukraine, Russian forces fired on and destroyed key infrastructure, and missiles hit apartment buildings.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and a general mobilization was announced.
Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation at the United Nations International Court of Justice in The Hague.
