Several anonymous sources in the government, according to journalists, said that approvals for the supply are expected in the near future, and the Defense Ministry has prepared weapons for transportation.
Germany has changed course for the crisis in Ukraine, equipping the Ukrainian military with heavy weapons, the newspaper notes. Last week, the government decided to deliver 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 Stinger anti-aircraft missiles to Kyiv.
According to journalists, the German Ministry of Defense checks every day what weapons can be handed over to Ukraine.
