“Do you want to live in a world where big powers force small countries to do what they don’t want to do? This is not the world we would like to live in. The whole idea is that this is a provocation, that Ukraine is doing what it wants. “It is turning the world upside down and violating the fundamental principles under which Russia has signed,” he said.
According to him, Ukraine must decide for itself whether it wants to apply for membership in the Alliance.
And then, of course, 30 NATO allies must decide whether Ukraine is ready for membership.
