The government has banned or restricted the export of food-critical goods during martial law. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal .
According to him, we are talking about wheat, buckwheat, meat, eggs, oil, sugar and more.

“Currently, the balance shows that Ukraine is provided with basic foodstuffs in the coming months. But we must also think about the future. That is why the Government is implementing a plan to support the sowing campaign, which should start soon where possible, ”the head of government stressed.
Shmygal noted that the Cabinet of Ministers has approved a decision by which the state will reimburse interest on loans to cover any costs associated with agricultural activities. Farmers will also be provided with state guarantees for 80% of the amount of loans they have attracted.
“This will allow our farmers to get money for sowing and be sure that if they lose the crop, they will not go bankrupt,” said the Prime Minister.
