Israel has agreed to act as a mediator in the search for peace and an end to Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, and will start admitting relatives of those Ukrainians who are already in the country. This was announced by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak .

“Israel has taken on the difficult but noble mission of mediating peace and ending Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. We are also in intensive dialogue with Israel on its participation in the humanitarian component,” Ermak wrote on Facebook.
According to him, he is in constant contact with National Security Adviser and Chairman of the National Security Council Eyal Hulata.
“We have already achieved the first results: as part of the evacuation, Israel will allow the admission of relatives of those Ukrainians who are already in this country. I thank my colleagues and hope for the success of our joint diplomatic efforts,” he added.
