Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – March 16, 2022- The British Ministry of Defense said on Twitter that the Ukrainian armed forces inflicted heavy losses on the Russian forces that invaded the country.
“The tactics of the Ukrainian armed forces are very skilled in using the Russians’ lack of maneuvering, disrupting Russia’s advance and inflicting heavy losses on the invading forces,” the agency said, citing intelligence data.
The Ministry of Defense added that Russian forces have problems with the Ukrainian region, and are still largely linked to the Ukrainian road network and showed a reluctance to maneuver off-road, and the destruction of bridges by Ukrainian forces played a major role in deterring the Russian offensive.
