This year, the Ministry of Health spends UAH 17,834 on the treatment of one patient with cancer. The Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov told about it during a briefing.
“This year we spend on the treatment of one patient with cancer … we have a tariff (for chemotherapy – ed.) – 17 thousand 834 UAH. In addition, the state still allocates additional drugs that are purchased centrally,” – said Stepanov.
He noted that this amount of funds is not enough for patients.
