Journalist Viktoriya Roshchyna, who shot videos and wrote articles from hotspots in eastern and southern Ukraine all days of the Russian-Ukrainian war, was probably detained by the Russian FSB. Currently, nothing is known about her whereabouts .

According to the newspaper, on March 11, a text was published in which Roshchina talks about how the temporarily occupied Energodar lives.
These days the journalist was preparing materials about military actions in Zaporizhia and Donetsk regions. She planned to travel all the way to Mariupol to talk about what was really going on in the city, which has been shelled by Russian troops every day for more than two weeks.
On the evening of March 11, Victoria Roshchina was probably on her way from Zaporizhia to Mariupol and had poor communication. All that was known was that she had already left Energodar at that time.
On March 12, the media was unable to contact Victoria. As it became known from witnesses, who are not named for security reasons, at that time the journalist was in the temporarily occupied Berdyansk.
On March 16, the media learned that the day before (probably March 15) Victoria Roshchina was detained by the Russian FSB. Currently, nothing is known about her whereabouts.
“For two days we made every effort to release the journalist in a private manner. But it proved fruitless. Therefore, we urge the Ukrainian and international community to join the information and actions to release journalist Hromadske Victoria Roshchina,” the statement said.
