The Embassy of Ukraine in Beijing is checking whether Ukrainians were on board the plane that crashed in China, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Nikolenko said on Twitter .

“The Ukrainian Embassy in Beijing is checking the presence of Ukrainian citizens on board a plane of China Eastern, which crashed in southern China,” Nikolenko said.

A Boeing 737 with 133 people on board crashed in China, the number of victims is unknown.
