“We are suspending well-known Nestle brands such as KitKat and Nesquik. We have already stopped importing and exporting to and from Russia, stopped all advertising and suspended all investment in the country. Of course, we fully comply with all international sanctions against Russia,” he said. according to the press service of Nestle.
As noted, the company’s activities in Russia during the war in Ukraine will focus on providing the population with basic foodstuffs.
Nestle also announced that their profits will be donated to humanitarian organizations.
“This is in addition to the hundreds of tons of food and significant financial assistance we have already provided to support people in Ukraine and refugees in neighboring countries. We support the people of Ukraine and our 5,800 employees,” the company added.
