According to Russian media, the politician died today at 10.45 at the age of 76. He spent the last day in a coma.
Initially, information about Zhirinovsky’s death was confirmed by a member of the Russian council, Alexander Pronyushkin. Later, State Duma spokesman Vyacheslav Volodin denied the politician’s death.
“His condition is really serious. Today he had a CT scan. We are worried about him, doctors are fighting for him. He is a great man. Let’s wish him a speedy recovery,” Volodin wrote.
