Ukrainian tennis player Stanislav Poplavsky was suspended for life from competitions of any category due to participation in contractual matches.
The Ukrainian was disqualified for life after an investigation by the Tennis Integrity Unit found that he had repeatedly participated in contract matches and “court siding” (a prohibited practice of transferring a (score from a match to a third party for sports betting) in the period from 2015 to 2019.
It is noted that Stanislav Poplavsky (personal record in the ATP ranking – 440th place) accepted all charges. On December 4, 2020, the tennis player was lifelong disqualified and fined $ 10,000, which means that from December 1, he is permanently banned from playing or attending any tennis competitions held by the governing bodies of tennis.
