The FIBA Board has approved the venue for the qualifying matches of the Men’s European Championship-2022, as well as the Women’s Championship of Europe-2021.
After the successful matches of the relevant qualifiers in “loot” in November, the third qualifying window will also be held in a similar format to ensure the health and safety of all participants in the tournament.
Thus, the matches of Group F of the qualifying tournament of the European Championship, in which the national team of Ukraine, as well as the teams of Slovenia, Hungary and Austria play, will be held in Kyiv. The “yellow-blue” team, which has already secured a place in the final, will host the final qualifiers and will play at home against Hungary and Slovenia.
The date of the “loot” is February 15-23, 2021.
