During the month of the war, the Russian occupiers damaged more than 60 Ukrainian churches and religious buildings. Churches in at least 8 regions of Ukraine were destroyed. Such data is provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook .

“Since February 24, at least more than 60 buildings of spiritual significance have been damaged (excluding adjacent buildings) in at least eight regions of Ukraine: Kyiv, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, Luhansk, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv. The vast majority of them are Orthodox churches.” it is said in the message.

It is noted that mosques, synagogues, Protestant churches, religious educational institutions and important administrative buildings of religious organizations were also destroyed.
Addition
Bombing and shelling have damaged 773 educational institutions since the start of the war, and 75 of them have been completely destroyed, the Prosecutor General’s Office said.
