Yesterday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of the threat of self-detonation of ammunition, a huge number of which Russia has set up in the area of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
“Russia must withdraw its troops from the Chornobyl zone immediately,” the General Staff said.

The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov , said that the explosions in the village of Chervonyi Zhovten, Belgorod district, Russia, were caused by a fire at an ammunition depot. He added that the information was unverified and suggested waiting for the official announcement of the Russian Defense Ministry.
