Sanctions for refusing to block Russian propaganda have been imposed on Internet providers, in particular, two have already been removed from the profile register, the State Special Communications Service reported .

“Internet providers who refuse to block Russian propaganda have been excluded from the Register of Operators and Telecommunications Providers. Further, the company is facing more serious sanctions,” the State Special Communications Service said.

In particular, according to the National Commission for State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum and Provision of Postal Services, “decided to exclude NETASIST LLC and NETASSIST LLC from the Register of Telecommunications Operators and Providers.”
The reason is non-compliance with the orders and requirements of the National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Electronic Communications Networks of Ukraine (NCU), which operates under the State Special Communications Service, during martial law. In particular, those related to the security of electronic communications networks and services and the blocking of hostile domains in Ukraine.
Then, according to the State Special Communications Service, a decision will be made on what to do with violators. These can be:
- establishing temporary features of traffic routing, in accordance with this decision,
- revocation of permits for the use of numbering resources,
- revocation of licenses for the use of radio frequency resources,
- exclusion of information from other registers maintained by the national commission.
The agency stressed that in martial law, providers of electronic communications networks and / or services are obliged to take immediate measures to implement the instructions of the NCU. The latter issued a number of orders to nullify the activities of the pro-Putin propaganda machine and destroy the information invasion by the Russian Federation, the State Special Communications Service said.
