Ukraine, Ukraine gate- March 31, 2022- Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby confirmed that some Russian forces have withdrawn from the Chernobyl nuclear power site.
The withdrawal comes as Russian forces have repositioned themselves near the Ukrainian capital.
He said the US has seen nearly 20% of Russian forces move against Kyiv’s “repositioning”, with some heading to Belarus.
Kirby added that the repositioned forces were generally fighting in the regions north and northwest of Kyiv.
