Ukraine, Ukraine gate- April 2, 2022- A statement issued by John Kirby, a Pentagon spokesman, said that the US Department of Defense submitted a request to Congress to provide Ukraine with $300 million as a new batch of defense aid represented by weapons and various equipment to the armed forces.
As the new package includes the possibility of providing Ukraine with laser-guided missile systems
It was determined that the new package includes the possibility of providing Ukraine with the following equipment:
- Laser guided missile systems.
- Kamikaze Switchblade Drones.
- Puma drones.
- Drone control systems.
- High mobility cars.
- Small and large caliber ammunition.
- Night vision devices, sights and communication systems.
- Commercial satellite monitoring services and medical equipment.
Also, America is still seeking to find new opportunities for Ukraine in cooperation with its allies and partners. Also, since the beginning of the Russian invasion, America has provided more than 1.6 billion dollars in security assistance, while the total aid has reached more than 2.3 billion dollars.
