The cooperation between Ukraine and Sweden in the development of digital technologies was announced yesterday by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal. He wrote about it on his Facebook page as part of last week’s results.
Sweden will provide Ukraine with 128 million hryvnias under the UN Development Program for the implementation of a joint project with the Ministry of Finance “Electronic, inclusive, affordable: support for the digitalization of public services in Ukraine.” The project provides for the creation of comprehensive services for citizens belonging to the most vulnerable categories of the population. It is also planned to increase the level of digital literacy among the population. Experts say such programs are another step in the fight against corruption in government. In addition, such programs will speed up administrative reform and make life easier for citizens due to their convenience.
