“We are not announcing the number of dead, civilians. This figure will obviously be in the hundreds. Corpses are being taken out,” Monastyrsky said.
The Interior Minister stressed that it is dangerous to talk about demining at the moment. There are dozens of people in these settlements who have survived the horrors and stayed. In the first days of release, some people were taken to safety. Some were taken to Kyiv hospitals.
According to Monastyrsky, many residents of these cities are considered missing.
