An alarming photo showing the bodies in Bucha was geolocated, authenticated and reported to CNN on Friday. This happened on the same day that Ukraine declared the city liberated from Russian troops.
In response to a video from Bucha on Saturday, the Russian Defense Ministry claims that the video is “fake” and “staged”. It said the videos, photos and allegations of war crimes were “another provocation”.

Irpin, Bucha, Gostomel and the whole Kyiv region were liberated – the Ministry of Defense.
