Kuleba flew to the Belgian capital to meet with the heads of diplomacy of the North Atlantic Alliance.

“We need three things to stop the Russian army. These are weapons, weapons and weapons. The sooner we get them, the more people will be saved and the war will be limited to Ukraine. I urge the allies to postpone their hesitations and uncertainty. Today, weapons serve peace.” – said the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, quoted by Polish Radio.

Kuleba stressed that the Ukrainian army has shown that it can fight and win, but it needs more weapons. He added that Ukraine expects NATO countries to use aviation and air defense systems, long-range missiles and armored personnel carriers, and demands tough sanctions from the EU in the energy sector.

“We will insist on a full embargo on oil and gas supplies,” he said.

He added that Kyiv also expects all Russian banks to be disconnected from the SWIFT system and European ports closed to Russian ships, except for humanitarian aid. “I hope that there will never be a situation when the same crimes as in Bucha must be committed in order to strengthen sanctions,” the Ukrainian Foreign Minister stressed.

Currently, the EU wants to impose an embargo only on imports of coal from Russia .
