Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – April 7, 2022- If Russia intends to move its fighter jets to the territory of Transnistria, Ukrainian air defense will attack these targets.
This was told by the head of the public relations department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Bohdan Senyk. “Ukrainian air defense will shoot down fighter jets and military transport aircraft of the Russian Federation over Ukraine in case of attempts to transfer them to Tiraspol,” he said.
The Ukrainian General Staff does not rule out using the territory of the breakaway region of Moldova to support a Russian offensive in the Southern Bug area. Preparations are being made for Russian planes to land at Tiraspol Airport.
