In March, Hall was driving with Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski and Ukrainian journalist Oleksandra Kuvshinova. His colleagues were killed in the shelling.
Zakrzewski was a veteran photographer who covered military conflicts for Fox News, particularly in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. His colleague, Kuvshinova, helped Fox crews navigate Kyiv and its environs, gather the necessary information and communicate with sources.
