Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – April 10, 2022- The independent adviser to the head of the President’s Office, Oleksiy Aristovich, stated that the Russian forces were advancing in nine directions, continuing their active operations in the Mariupol and Environmental Protection Zones.
He said that the enemy had tried to capture areas in the southwest of the Luhansk-Rubizny region, Popasna, Severodnetsk, Lysichansk, but his attempts were unsuccessful.
Then the enemy tried to move from Izyum to the southwest, but the Russian forces also failed to do so, and the adviser to the Chief of Operations stated that the enemy forces repeated their attempts to attack, but they were unsuccessful and stopped.
Aristovich also stressed that fierce fighting was underway in Mariupol, but he emphasized that the Ukrainian forces were defending themselves, as the enemy tried to carry out tactical offensive operations on the Oleksandrivka settlement in the Kherson region, where they did not succeed and incurred losses accompanied by a tactical group.
