Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – April 11, 2022- European Union Foreign Ministers held a meeting with Karim Khan, the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, to discuss the investigation of crimes committed by Russia against the Ukrainian people.
Latvian Foreign Minister Rinkevix confirmed that his country supports the prosecutor’s work and has allocated 100,000 euros to it, and Rinkevix said that those guilty of serious crimes should be brought to justice.
The International Criminal Court also opened an investigation into war crimes committed in Ukraine on March 2.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen offered Ukraine the support of European experts to document war crimes committed by the Russian occupation forces.
