The dollar exchange rate in the state budget for 2021 is set at 29.10 hryvnia and there will be no rate jumps. According to the statement of the People’s Deputy from the “Servant of the People” Yevgenia Kravchuk on the air of the ZIK TV channel.
“There will be no sharp jumps in the exchange rate. The state has enough resources to maintain this exchange rate. Now, like all other countries, we have had a drop in industrial production, a drop in GDP, especially in the second quarter, but we see that the exchange rate fluctuates within which – a few kopecks, but it is stable, so people should understand that the state ensures this stability.Of course, for exporters the rate at the level of 29 hryvnia per dollar is better than the one that was literally six months ago or eight months ago – 26-28 hryvnia, which led to a hole in the budget “, – explained Kravchuk.
At the same time, she assured that all protected items – pensions and salaries – will be financed stably.
