The National Commission on Securities and Stock Market (NSSMC) of Ukraine has admitted shares of six companies to circulation in Ukraine – Facebook Inc., Tesla Inc., Netflix Inc., Microsoft Corporation, Visa Inc and Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. According to the commission’s statement on its website.
In accordance with the Regulations on the Admission of Securities of Foreign Issuers to Circulation on the Territory of Ukraine, the decision on admission is made by the NSSMC at the request of the foreign issuer of securities or the Central Securities Depository.
Securities of a foreign issuer are allowed to be traded on the territory of Ukraine on stock exchanges and over-the-counter markets. The issuer of foreign securities additionally interacts with the stock exchange to ensure the listing of securities of the foreign issuer.
