According to the decree, now privates (except for conscripts) who have combat experience and have not received training at the appropriate level in higher military educational institutions, training units (centers) and military units, taking into account the need to replenish the Armed Forces of Ukraine during martial law may be assigned to the positions of sergeant and sergeant, for which wartime states provide a military rank to senior sergeant (chief sergeant) inclusive, with the simultaneous assignment of the primary military rank of sergeant and sergeant and with subsequent referral to training for a specified period Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
