Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – April 13, 2022- Kyiv region police chief Andrei Nepetov stated, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs via Facebook, that 3,050 cases of crimes committed by the Russian army have been recorded in the Kyiv region since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The police registered 233 criminal cases for assaulting the territorial integrity and sanctity of Ukraine, and 1463 cases are being investigated for violating the laws and customs of war during martial law.
Neptov said that the number of bodies identified and examined of civilians killed in the Kyiv region as a result of Russian aggression is more than 720, and more than 200 people are still missing.
Law enforcement officers have recorded more than 150 cases of looting and reported suspicious 35 persons, recorded more than 30 cases of cooperation, and collected materials to assist the aggressor, and reported 5 suspects.
The police also continue to clear the territories occupied by the Russian forces, identify the collaborators with the enemy, identify the victims of Russian aggression, record the destruction and search the bodies of the dead.
The Ministry of the Interior said that the occupiers must be held accountable for every crime committed on the territory of Ukraine.
